the advent of the new vrmmorpg fad has brought a good portion of hoenn to resort to delivery systems for their needs instead of actually going out of their house in favor of playing the game. it was only normal for the postal service to be overbooked during these trying times.

equipped with a courier bag with the logo of the postal service, the aerodactyl readies itself from the takeoff point. it waits for the signal to lift-off as it gets its destination, and when it finally does, it spreads its wings wide and soars the skies.

the skies around fortree were littered with flying-types going in and out of the post office, most of them taking off as soon as they deliver their mail to a household. it is likely that the aerodactyl will be doing the same as soon as he delivers his own package.

the fossil pokemon descends as soon as it reaches the house of Noelle Lane. the aerodactyl plucks out a small box containing a pregnancy kit from its bag and places it by the door before it rings the doorbell with its beak. it readies the delivery receipt on a clipboard on its beak as it waits for someone to answer the door.

Alec had sent Veda, his Female Dragonite on a very small mission. To deliver his payment from his debt he had owed to the League. The Female Dragonite flew over the Hoennian sky, quickly arriving in Slateport City at the Bank. The normal happy Dragonite did not seem all to pleased to be sent on this mission though. It couldn't really vent to other people, however it's annoyed face was rather apparent as it had walked up to the desk clerk. The lady blinked and was utterly confused as to why a Pokemon was here instead of a person, and that was when the female Dragonite had handed her the letter as well as the envelope, containing the payment. [break][break]

The note read:[break][break]

"Sorry for not making it here on my own! I'm on official League business, so I had my Dragonite, Veda deliver the payment to ya! I apologize for that!"[break][break]

Was all it said, however the lady just chcukled a bit, while Veda held her annoyed deadpan face. It wasn't because she was annoyed about the bank lady, or the fact that she was there. It was because her master was sitting at home, on that stupid videogame, being absolutely lazy! When it was all said and done, Veda had exited the bank and had began to take off once more into the skies, heading back to Pacifidlog Town. Needless to say, she will not being doing her master a favor like this ever again. [break][break]

the things katherine did for money...
when things were rough and less options were available to the rocket grunt through the crime organization, she usually had to go look at other places for income. bar-tending here, a cashier there - whatever job presented itself with nice pay was accepted by the woman. she never stuck to one for more than a week or two, of course, but the variety was oft looked down upon. after all, she couldn't make a career for herself out of that.

not that kat cares. she truly doesn't. her life is her life, and she'll live them the goddamn way she wants to.
and that meant that persuading her pokemon to go fetch mail and put it in people's mailboxes was more than okay. it was fine. murkrow was a big boy, and he can take care of himself-- and in fact, it would probably serve as good training if anything. as soon as the package murkrow needed to carry arrived, the avian pokemon frowned a little. it was bigger than he wished for it to be. he was a small pokemon who's yet to evolve, but it's not like they cared. the job needed to be done.

after a few cries, the crow-like pokemon used his beak to bite the bag that carrier the box - and then lifted himself up, beginning to fly. whatever was inside, despite the size of it, was light as a feather. a fact that murkrow was pleased to find out.
only a few meters above the entrance to the house he was supposed to reach, murkrow dropped the package and used TAILWIND to ensure that a gale of air prevents the box from reaching the ground harshly. afterwards, it began to circle the house and cry as loud as it could - repeating its name for whoever was inside.

it was likely that after today, katherine and her pokemons wouldn't be invited for another day at the postmail, but money was money.

tropius does not come across, in any way, as a sleek, speedy flier. it is hulking, and it has leaves for wings. zen....is not a sleek, speedy flier. around his midsection, a strap fastens a basket of sorts to his back, a much larger package than one of his sleeker, speedier fliers might be able to handle.

for him, it is nothing. the cool air tilts the bananas that hang from his neck back and forth hypnotically, his eyes shut as he takes in the blissful solitude that he experiences, ignoring the payload trying to weigh him down. the tropius gets very, very little time alone these days -- in galar? he'd be off doing these pokemon jobs constantly, sometimes going days at a time without seeing onus. now, they were constantly together, which, was, you know, great!

but the solitude? also great.

his destination is pacifidlog, a place he has been to only once. luckily enough, the house he is delivering to has a large enough landing area for the large grass type to touch down; a lone woman stands there awaiting his arrival. she peeks back into her house and beckons to men to join her, both burlier than the woman. within a few minutes, they have what might be a television unloaded from the back of the tropius. zen hears the woman mutter something about "distancing" but gets lost in the massage from one of the two men.

and then, he's off again. left for some solitude and some more delivering.

Since she'd been gifted to Florian during the cold winter season, Juliette's wings have grown stronger in her efforts to ferry her trainer across the region. Large for a Togekiss, her broad wingspan lent well to delivery work like this. She is calm and patient as a parcel is secured to her back, chirping her content.[break][break]

When the package is secured and she's given the all-clear, the fairy type takes to the air in a fluid, floating motion.

As she soars on toward her destination, the Togekiss defogs the skies for better visibility. It benefits not only the dual-type but many other fliers as well; she passes a Tropius at one point in her trip, greeting him with a trill. Her stamina has greatly increased over the months, and she needs only to stop and roost once before reaching the desired address.

Once the parcel is delivered, the friendly fairy takes to the skies once more. This was but the first of many deliveries she would make today, and Juliette was more than happy to do so.

Delivery services? Oh, you bet your ass![break][break]

Of course, wanting to lead the charge, Alexei had all but thrown his Braviary into the mess, urging the avian to ‘do him proud’ and ‘don’t mess up!’ before returning back to his residence and sink back into the latest craze that was sweeping across the region.[break][break]

Now that the Braviary was assembled alongside all the other Flying-types that were called for such an emergency, he was given his first mission—to deliver some papers to Verdanturf. It wasn’t that far, right?[break][break]

Once the messenger bag had been slung around the avian, he took off, flying as fast and as far as he could—wanting to get as many deliveries done for the day. While it had taken him some time to get to Verdanturf from Fortree, he had managed to find the person waiting for the delivery.[break][break]

Once the papers were handed over, he was back in the air, heading back to Fortree for his next assignment.

someone treads on her tail and vega lets out a fearsome cry, her battle instincts coming through. yet more workers arrive on the scene, this time to calm the pokemon and usher her outside.

eventually, the letters all find their rightful places and order restored to the postal office. there's an obvious reluctance in the postman who places the box labelled 'FRAGILE' before her. vega lets out a chirp.

Stormy had been diligent about ensuring Wadjet returned to her physical peak. After the events in Slateport, the dragon had climbed a difficult road to recovery - but she was nearly there. Offering her services as a delivery Pokemon came naturally, and brought her another opportunity to get stronger.[break][break]

Some faceless ranger attaches the harness to her chest. The Charizard can see that another Charizard is with her to help deliver the package - it was too heavy for just one Pokemon to carry. Together, the pair of dragons begin to push off the ground, dispersing dirt and forcing the rangers to cover their faces for fear of breathing in dirt.[break][break]
